The new electric hatchback is offered in multiple combinations of IP67-rated battery packs and charging options including a 24kWh battery pack, delivering a Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC) range of 315km for longer daily driving needs and a 19.2kWh battery pack for short and frequent trips, delivering an estimated MIDC range of 250km.
Keeping all stress at bay, the battery and motor also come with 8 years or 160,000 kms warranty. The production of the 24kWh battery pack variants has been prioritized based on insights to match customer expectations at the time of delivery.
With special introductory prices starting INR 8.49 Lakh (All India - Ex-showroom), for the first 10,000 customers (of which 2000 will be reserved for the current owners of Nexon EV and Tigor EV), bookings for the Tata Tiago EV will start on October 10, 2022. ]]>The new Tata Tiago NRG XT variant comes with new 14” Hyperstyle Wheels, 3.5” Infotainment System by HarmanTM, Steering Mounted Controls, Height Adjustable Driver Seat, Front Fog Lamps and many other features along with carrying forward the NRG design elements such as High Ground Clearance of 181 mm, Rugged Claddings, Infinity Black Roof with Roof Rails & Charcoal Black Interiors.
Adding to the celebration, Tata Motors also announced the upgradation of its existing Tiago XT variant with the addition of new features to make it a more exciting proposition. ]]>Tata Motors has launched the Dark Edition variants of select models including the Tata Harrier and Tata Altroz. The sporty-looking livery is also available with the Tata Nexon and its fully electric model. With an all-black look, the Dark Edition versions of these vehicles have gained quite some popularity. They have been received well by the audience and people started to expect Tata Motors to also introduce this treatment in its budget hatchback, the Tata Tiago. However, that will not be the case.

A recent media report claims that Tata Motors has no plans of launching the Tata Tiago Dark Edition. The company prefers not to extend its Dark Edition treatment to its budget hatchback and keep it reserved only for its premium range.
While the Tata Tiago Dark Edition would not become a reality, there are digital renderings of the same available on the internet to give us an idea how the hatchback in an all-black livery would look like. We can see in the rendering above that the Dark Edition treatment certainly enhances the overall visual appeal of the Tiago. It looks more masculine and attractive. Don’t you think?
